Visakhapatnam December 12

On the third day of field work, Monday December 12, we returned to Bhimunipatnam and went to the Dutch and British Flagstaff Cemetery.

We then walked along the beach.

We then met Mr. S. S. Roberts and Medina at Mr. Robert's home again and copied more documents that he had.

Then after lunch on the beach, we went to a Hindu temple complex and looked at some other old buildings.

In the late afternoon we returned to the Dutch cemetery, to be there around sunset in order to take some laser measurements.

Back in Visakhapatnam that evening, an INTACH member took Ilse and me to the Waltair Club, itself a heritage building, for dinner.
